Are you an artist, and finding answer to that ?
It happened with me in my early 20's, when I was struggling to find my field of interest to work in, to find job in... and it was quite hard for me to find something which I really like to do. I was never a 9 to 5 kind of person.
So I started to explore myself to understand what I really want to do, and finally after sometime I found it, I like to engage in creative & artistic things, things need Imaginations, things that requires Heart more then Brain.
So here I'm telling you 5 common traits creative people have. Have fun in reading...
1. Ideas and Imagination continuously runs in your mind.
Are you a daydreamer ? You keep imagining situations in your mind or ideas of creating something new and different even on a busy road or an empty room, even in the night sometimes your creative imagination or ideas make hard for you to sleep. Sometimes you step out of the bed and start executing your plans. and ideas, shaping your imagination on a paper or pc. You find them more interesting then your sleep ? Then YES, you might be one of them, the creative ones.
2. You're a sensitive person.
Whatever is happening around you, you feel it in you. The good, the bad, the happiness, the sadness, it bothers if something bad happens with someone innocent, no matter human, dog or anyone else. When someone is happy you feel their emotions. The situations you have seen or observed comes in your mind later in day whenever you're alone. Whatever you feel, You can pour it out, that means your emotion, in anything you create. No matter if it is a painting, a diary note.
3. You never back down, no matter how hard things get.
Giving up is not your thing. No matter how hard things get, no matter how many problems come in your way, no matter how difficult situations get, but you never give on things you love to do. As soon as you gather yourself you return to whatever you love to do. No matter you lose or gain people, money and things in the end of the day you pick that pen and write something new, you pick up that brush of yours and paint something you learnt, you pick up that guitar of yours and play the tune of the emotion you felt.
4. You've no more fear of Imperfection.
Imperfection is of the stair that you've to climb to make perfect things, although nothing can be perfect for everyone. But you create things, without fearing of imperfections and accept that you can make mistakes, but you make sure you learn from them. You realize that it's ok to be imperfect and get used to it, in order to learn and create more and more until things get perfect for you.
5. You sacrifice Food & Sleep for things you love to do.
You can sacrifice your sleep even without realizing that when you're working on something you love to do, the time passes so quickly that you don't even realize for how long you've been working on it. You don't worry about your empty tummy, you don't even feel hungry when you're engaged something you love to do. That happens when you're into something you're interested in.
These are some basic trait of a creative person. Just ask yourself.
What do you really want from your life ? Whatever you're doing is it worth if you really live only once ?
